Oaks in Harmony

'Oaks in Harmony' - This is a representation of the early conservative style employed by landscape artist, Alfred Sisley (1839-1899). The colours used are pale blues, greens and medium browns. The shift of the sunlight is depicted by applying lighter colours towards the top of the painting and the slightly darker shadows towards the bottom. The road seems patchy as the mid afternoon's warm sunlight shines on it.
